CANCELLED – Spring Clean Up and Chili/Soup Cook Off for April 25th 2020 has been cancelled due to the Stay Home Stay Safe Governor’s order.

Date: Saturday, April 25, 2020

Come join us as we work together to clean up the course for the season. Clean Up begins at 10 am on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Bring your yard tools and gloves (shovels, rakes, pruning sheers, hoes, trimmers, etc). We will work beside each other to get things done and ready for the golfing season. Dress for the weather as we will be outside sprucing up and cleaning up the course. Winter is hard on things so we welcome you to join us to make Huron Shores Golf Course beautiful.

Want to join in the Chili and Soup contest? Make your best recipe and bring it when you arrive so it can simmer all day while we are outside working.  Can’t make the Clean Up Day; just bring in your contest entry Chili or soup for everyone to taste. Not coming to the Spring Clean Up Day but want to enter our soup or chili in the contest – entry is just $5.00 per dish.  Helping during the Spring Clean Up Day – NO COST TO ENTER YOUR CHILI OR SOUP in the contest. All proceeds going to a charity whose name will be drawn during the event. Pre-enter by calling ahead of the day 810-622-9961. Contest will take place approximately at 4:00 pm.

After the work is done, we will come inside and taste the amazing chili and soups that you have prepared. Contest winner will receive Dinner for Two at the Course Restaurant.
